White water rafting the Snake river in Jackson Wyoming with Jackson White Water was AWESOME. Special thanks to our Hawain Shirt wearing guide Tom as he made it an adventure we will surely repeat. I hope to go again next June when the water is higher.
Hit the Drive in last night. It is still special to be in the bed of the truck watching a movie with your family, who cares if the sound is not dolby surround sound its the event not the audio visual theater quality.
Do you remember playing mud football? We had a riot of a time Saturday with Moms, Dads, Brothers and Sisters all getting seriously muddy. This was all followed by a completely safe but illegal troop movement in the bed of the pickup trucks WITHOUT SEATBELTS! We hope for rain this coming Saturday as a repeat event with many more players is definately ON! Sorry no pics on this one.
2 new great books for kids and parents alike “The Boy Mechanic Makes Toys” by Popular Mechanics and “The Boy Camper” by Popular Mechanics. Fit right in with us here at Dangerousdads.com Enjoy
Happy Thanksgiving, what a great day to spend with the kids. Dont forget to involve the kids with cooking too! Watch some football, play some catch, and build some memories!
Just got back from buying Mortars from the Moapa Tribe North of Las Vegas. Like a kid in a candy store. I could have spent thousands. Bought some great stuff and blew them off while at Lake Powell in Utah.
After explaining the difference between the front brake and rear brake on an adult frame mountain bike that can only be boarded by standing on a stump we handled some pretty tough single track. And yes we have blood! Over the bars we go, but hey they gotta learn. No breaks or stiches so count this one as a do over!
Probably shouldn’t light the fireworks while on the bikes! I personally like mortars, but only if we’re out in the desert or at a lake. Don’t want to burn down any houses. Happy 4th.
Heading up to the mountains with the kids to ride the smallest adult full suspension mountain bikes we could find. Should be a scar maker of a trip! Have a great 4th of July! Dont forget that Fireworks are FUN! If you are close to a place that sells the good stuff, believe me, its worth the trip. Be Safe and Celebrate our Independence! DD

Taking the kids to Yellowstone. Hope to keep them from trying to ride the buffalo or feeding the bears.
